Our Story
What started as a passion project in 2019 has grown into a suite of professional tools used by over 10,000 developers around the world.
Galidar Studio was founded with a simple goal: make high-quality water simulation accessible to every Unreal Engine developer. At the time, there were very few options available for real-time ocean rendering in UE4. We saw the gap and built Oceanology — a Gerstner wave-based ocean system that quickly became one of the most popular water plugins on the Unreal Marketplace.
Over the years, we've continuously evolved our products. We've shipped hundreds of updates, rewritten core systems from scratch for better performance, expanded from oceans to rivers and lakes, and most recently pioneered AI-powered editor tools with ClaudusBridge. Through it all, we've maintained a commitment to quality, transparency, and supporting our community.
Today, our products power projects ranging from indie games to AAA studios and cinematic productions. We're proud of what we've built and excited about where we're going.
Our Journey
First release on the Unreal Marketplace. Gerstner wave ocean system for UE4. The beginning of everything.
Rapid growth with continuous free updates. Buoyancy, underwater effects, swimming, and multiplayer support added.
Riverology launches — spline-based rivers with flow physics. Oceanology reaches thousands of users.
Full migration to Unreal Engine 5. Quadtree tessellation, RVT integration, and performance optimizations.
Oceanology NextGen launches with FFT wave simulation. Migration to the new FAB Store marketplace by Epic Games.
ClaudusBridge AI editor tools launches (Neural Cortex architecture, AI Vision, smooth navigation, engineering workflows). Synchronized updates for all products.
ClaudusBridge 0.5.0: per-session event subscriptions, agent_message bus, persistent visual watcher (C++ internal + canonical sub-agent + Python daemon), Codex CLI/rmcp transport support, modernized /preview WebRTC viewer. The verification gap is closed by design.
ClaudusBridge 1.0 / UE 5.8: the agent moves inside Unreal — the embedded ClaudusCode terminal runs Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini natively over ACP. 900+ MCP tools across ~65 toolsets, Multi-User collaboration with presence avatars, sign in with your own subscription (no API keys), full C++ source.
Native CLI and stdio MCP for supported Unreal workflows with the editor window open or closed. Project-aware backends, persistent agent sessions, package ownership and a shared timeline. Interactive verification still uses the full editor.
